The season for Challenge announcements has begun! While perusing my reader this morning I saw several pop up. This prompted me to take a look at my 2012 Challenges and take stock.
I’ll start with the one I’ve done the best with. The What’s In a Name 5 Challenge hosted by Beth Fish Reads. I’ve completed 4/6. I adore this challenge and was excited to learn that The What’s In a Name 6 Challenge topics have been announced.
For Cruisin Through the Cozies, I’ve only read and reviewed two so far, but this could change exponentially as I participate in Cozy Mystery Week hosted by Jennsbookshelves.
I’ve failed miserably at the Criminal Plots Reading Challenge having completed NONE of the goals.
I’m doing fairly well with my Audio Book Challenge, but I’m not likely to meet my goal of Married.
I will meet my personal goal of 52 books this year if I count both print/ebooks and audio books together. Separate them and I’m not doing so well.
It’s hard to say how I’m doing on the Read to Me Picture Book Challenge as I’ve not recorded all of the reviews that I’ve written to date, but trust me we are doing a lot of reading in my household!
Have I stepped outside of my comfort zone? I haven’t read any Horror or any classics yet, but there is still the possibility that it can happen. I haven’t ruled anything out yet. Especially with some serious vacation time approaching.
This has been an interesting year for me in both reading and blogging. I’m beginning to really think about what I want 2013 to look like, and I think some more changes are in store. Have you taken stock of your challenges to date? How have you done? Are you going to make changes in the upcoming year as well?
