My thoughts: If you are looking for a book that will wake you up and get you moving around, this is the book for you. Wynton Marsalis takes you through a series of sounds (mostly loud ones) that will get you going. Or if you are like us, you will end up rolling around on the floor laughing. Laughing because you’ve gotten Mommy and/or Daddy to make some of the silliest sounds that you have ever heard them make.
“Chrrrick chrrrick chrrrick chrrrick- buttering my toast. Krrrick krrrick krrrick krrrick- quick where it itches the most.”
If there is anything that my monkey loves, its getting his parents to do silly things. Squeak, Rumble, Whomp, Whomp, Whomp is a definite must have for any child’s library.
