Synopsis from Goodreads: Annie Adams is days away from her thirty-second birthday and thinks she has finally found some happiness. She visits the world’s most interesting places for her syndicated travel column and she’s happily cohabiting with her movie director boyfriend Nick in Los Angeles. But when Nick comes home from a meeting with his therapist (aka “futures counselor”) and announces that he’s taking a break from their relationship so he can pursue a woman from his past, the place Annie had come to call home is shattered. Reeling, Annie stumbles into her neighborhood bar and finds Griffin-a grounded, charming chef who seems to be everything Annie didn’t know she was looking for. Within three months, Griffin is Annie’s husband and Annie finds herself trying to restart her life in rural Massachusetts.
My thoughts: This is one of those books that I’ve been meaning to get to all summer long and just haven’t made it there yet. While I’m working my way through my TBR list trying to get to it, perhaps you can get there first.
I have two paperback copies of The First Husband to offer to my readers. This will be open to residents of the U.S. and Canada. While comments themselves are welcomed, please enter using the Rafflecopter widget. Good Luck!

Oh her hubster is annoying me already.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
(not a review)
I would say my favorite read so far this summer would have to be Shadow of Night by Deborah Harkness!
I just finished reading The Healer of Fox Hollow by Joanne Rose Leonard and absolutely loved it. I also just listened to Bossypants by Tina Fey and it was great!
Tough question, so many good reads! My favorite read this summer was: Little Princes, by Conor Grennan
You Belong to Me by Karen Rose.

I’ve wanted to read this book for quite a while but haven’t picked up a copy yet.

I also want to enter your generous giveaway but, although I’ve come back here several times, the rafflecopter form isn’t showing up for me
I’ve surmised from the comments that you asked readers for their favorite book of this summer. That’s a tough one but I think for me The Unlikely Pilgrimmage of Harold Fry is the winner by a very small margin! (I’ve also enjoyed, immensely, The Homecoming of Samuel Lake, The Light Between Oceans, The Roots of the Olive Tree and a few others!)
I’m going to continue to check this post for the rafflecopter form!
