Happy New Year! Welcome to the 2012 Audio Book Challenge. If I haven’t stopped by your blog to say hello yet, don’t fret. I’m slowly working my way through the list.
How are things going so far? Do you have a plan of attack or just taking things as they go? I’m on pace to finish my first audio book of 2012 later this week.
You can also look for a spotlight post on one of my favorite Audio Book Publishers and a feature about one of our participants. If you are interested in being featured, see the google form on the official Challenge Page.
Here it is, Link up your reviews or share your thoughts in the comments in order to be included in something special later this month!

I am going to do this one this year! I am fairly certain I listen to enough of them to complete it
Wonderful idea. I have a few audio books on my iPad I need to start with.
I popped Anna Quindlen’s Good Dog. Stay. into the car CD player this morning
It’s a short one so we’ll see
One down…halfway through the next. I’m on a bit of a Celia Reec kick this month!
I am a complete bonehead this morning. Okay, now after posting three different times, I think I got the last one correct. The first one is incorrect and links to an old audiobook review, the second one links to the correct post, but isn’t labeled correctly. It should be: Alaskan Bookie (Under the Dome). The third one is correct.
I don’t know how difficult it is to fix, so I just thought I would tell you it was wrong and I am not try to cheat or anything … just a spacey chick who reads.
Squeak
I am so impressed with you all! These are fantastic!
I’m going to have to get a notebook to keep track of all the audio books I want to read after reading everyone’s reviews. Love this challenge!
My listening pile/list is already out of control. So glad I’m not alone.
Just a quick question about link-ups. Since I am several days behind on writing reviews, I was wondering if I should use the January link up for all books I listen to in January or just the ones I reviewed on my site for January? There is going to be a few days delay before I get all the January listens posted.
There aren’t really any hard and fast rules. I usually link in the month that my review appears. If you prefer you can link in the month you listen. Its really up to you. I hope that helps a bit. Let me know if you have any other questions.
I am hoping to do at least one audiobook a month. I realized I love audiobooks that are based on Victorian era. Never thought how much an audiobook actually helps you paint the setting
