ArmChair BEA: What it meant to me

ArmChair BEAThis fantastic roller coaster of a week has come to a close.  ArmChair BEA has been a fantastic experience.  You’d better believe that I’m going to participate next year.  There was so much to be gained by this virtual experience.

I met bloggers, authors, and publicists.  I’ve made some incredible contacts that could lead to some great things.  I’ve gotten many new ideas to make Teresa’s Reading Corner even better. I am in awe of it all.  I can’t even imagine what the people who participate in BEA/BBC must feel like after it is all over with.

ArmChair BEA kept me busy writing daily posts and participating in some fantastic discussions.  I was able to hone my interviewing skills when we interviewed one another.  I shared some of what I’ve learned about blogging over the last year and a half.  There were giveaways galore (I’m still hoping that I won one of the big prizes).

Each of us had something unique to bring to the table.  I think that is what made this week so special.

I would like to give a big shout out to the organizers of ArmChair BEA.

I don’t know how they did it, but they put on a virtual event with a lot of excitement and a tremendous amount of participation.  Thank you ladies for all of your hard work!

Wasn’t it great? I also came away with tons of blog tweaking tips and I’m having to temper myself not to just jump in and redo the whole thing! :) Can’t wait until next year!

  2. I’m glad Armchair BEA was fun! I’ve been skimming posts this week and it looked like a good time. Glad you enjoyed it.

  3. Thank you very much! I’m so glad you participated. I hope you’ll be joining up again next year.
